Here are the photo's I promised of my B-WING, I don't know about you but I think it should've got a bit more screen time. The ship is built
straight
from the box, although it's not completely accurate the discrepencys are small (so's the scale) and mainly concentrated around the weapons areas. I got my colour references from the STAR WARS CHRONICLES but there are also some good pictures on the BEHIND THE MAGIC C.D.Rom. I started by spraying the ship a light STAR WARS grey then misted a clear blue over the top, the dark grey panelling added on the ends of the wings,engines, cockpit and guns, this was followed with a clear gloss coat and the decals attatched with 2 stage softener & fixer, the assemblys were then matt coated & misted with the original grey working back from the leading edges, a further matt coat and then dirtying down with black & grey pastels and a fine tipped black marker, smeared to simulate blast areas.( the pilot was trimmed and painted in the orange pilot suit with white vest & harness and rebel pilot helmet ) It's a pity they don't do a larger kit.
