Here is a standard build up of the Deluxe Vacuform model of the Proteus.
Yes, it is a stubby little 1/72nd scale miniature, but it is a cool one to add to anyone's collection, especially with the advent of Wilco's incarnation of the submarine. All I really added were military airforce figures to the model. My research at the time wasn't too in-depth, hence the lacking of additional accurate detail.
