Here is the 2001 Space Pod from Wilco models. Interestingly I had to do this between a 24 inch Jupiter 2 and a Cylon fiber glass head. Now where did my long weekend go? Not cutting the grass or doing the honey do's around the house or even going to Wonderfest! Ha, ha, ha. Nevertheless I did take in marginal quantities of Miller Genuine Draft. Hence the sloppy paint job on your model. Ha, ha, ha.

The only augmentation or added parts outside of what is on the kit are the six 1.5 volt railroad lamps, the clear pieces of the headlights (scavenged from my selection of car kits) and the added platform for the supplied base (I can just see the model toppling over on the resin stand). Oh, and Hal's eye is a tip of a tiny red LED backed by one of the lamps. Yikes....duh I forgot...also a magnet and tiny metal plate to adhere the pull away earmuff reaction control thrusters to view the pilot and interior. Gee, I did do a lot for this model.

I can thank David Merriman for giving me the impetus to do the removable pieces and being bold enough to butcher the model to do so.
