Joe Valeriote's Trade Federation Tank

First off I was very impressed with the accuracy and the detail of this kit. I made one small alteration to the  front,  just below the oval lump. I filled this with styrene to look more like the studio model.

Painting the model was done with an airbrush and Polyscale acrylic paints. For my base color I chose to go for a more mustard looking color, rather than the tan color recommended in the instructions, to match some studio model photos I liked.

I had allot of fun weathering the model using an airbrush, dry brush, pastels, washes, steel wool and a X-ACTO  blade to chip off paint along the front edges of most surfaces and plate lines.
