Jim Small's Batboat

Just thought I'd share with you a couple of pictures of a "Batboat" model I built recently for a customer. The model measures about six inches long and is made from a totally wretched resin re-casting (by an unknown manufacturer) of the old '60's Aurora kit. A lot of re-working was necessary to bring the casting back to standard, and the model was assembled with super glue and painted with automotive laquers. Details were done with Bare Metal Foil and Tamiya acrylics. The little "flame" shooting out the stern was made using a "Q-tip" soaked in thin super glue and coloured with fluorescent paints.

Enjoy!
