This was a small, fun project. I took the ships from the ERTL Rebel Base on Hoth playset (X-Wings, Rebel Transport and Millenium Falcon) and
threw away the horrible looking Y-wings. I took the X-Wings from the ERTL Battle on Hoth set and together with the Rebel Base ships made this wall-mounted scene I call Escort Duty.
The Falcon and
transport are pretty much OOB. The X-wings (1 1/2 inch wing span) have drilled out engines, decals and separate wing laser cannons. Those were fun to do.
The mount is just a piece of wood, painted black, with with mounting rods.
