CultTVMan  Presents:
On The Bench

What's on your workbench? Show us!

Jeff Pollizzotto brings us the first part of his USS Daedalus model.

Here are some shots of my new Daedalus kit I've gotten back to after a years leave.

As you can see, the main engineering hull is made up of two parts which will be vacuum formed in the kit. The command section sphere will also be  vacuum formed in two halves. The "neck" section will be resin as this part will hold the "sphere", the engineering section and the warp engine nacelles. It has to be strong. The nacelle rear caps will also be resin as well as the rear of the engineering section. Clear domes will be supplied for the engines with resin spikes
