Dave Porter's AT-ST diorama

The diorama depicts an early conquest by the Imperial forces. A field barrier generator station has been destroyed and armoured troops have been taken as prisoners by Stormtroopers. Another planet seeking independence is to be swallowed up by the Empire!

The AT-ST is the standard MPC kit with some modifications. Details were added to the legs. Hatches were opened up. and a driver figure was added. I also included some battle scars to the finish.

The figures, tank, and speeder bikes are 25mm gaming miniatures. The surrendering soldiers arms and hands have been removed and re-positioned.

The "field barrier generator station" was scratchbuilt using thin mahogany and covered with drywall plaster. It was sanded smooth and "battle damaged" with the use of an no.11 Exacto blade. The details came from the spare parts box. The moisture vaporator is scatchbuilt as well.
