Alexander Rivera's Movie Batmobile

This is the Batmobile form the first Batman movie. I wanted to capture the irraidience of the colors as they would shift like that of a beetle's shell. I painted the body silver, then highlighted the edges in purple. When that was dry I sprayed on gloss black being careful not to cover the highlighted edges.  After that I toned down the gloss on the black by spraying a semi-gloss clear coat.  You may be able to see but the clear coat cracked where the highlights are. Rule #1 take your time!!!! The next one I do will be done with paints used in taxidermy to paint fish.
