Al Murray's Space Jockey

I thought I would send you pics of my latest completed project, the Space Jockey from Aliens.  Its the Halcyon kit built and filled as standard but with the addition of the tripod used to lower Kane into the egg chamber.

The model was hand painted using acrylics.  Colours were based on several behind the scenes photos I  obtained from books and various people.  The suits may seem a little bright but I was fortunate to get actual photos of the Kane suit before it was auctioned off so the colours are pretty  accurate.

The tripod was scratchbuilt from the spares box, its a little large at the head for scales sake but its close enough. Pleased with the end result though, hope everyone else  likes it.
