F.A.B.!  Jonathan Frakes to direct live-action "Thunderbirds" movie

First glimpse of the movie craft!

ELSTREE, ENGLAND – Stand by for action!  Jonathan Frakes ("Star Trek: The Next Generation," "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine," "Star Trek: Voyager," "Star Trek: Generations," "Star Trek: First Contact,"  "Star Trek: Insurrection" and "Star Trek: Nemesis" ) bring his wealth of experience to the exciting world of International Rescue.  Starring Bill Paxton as Jeff Tracy with Sophia Myles as Lady Penelope and Ben Kingsley as the Hood, the new film also features Philip Winchester as Scott Tracy, Lex Shrapnel as John, Dominic Colenso as Virgil and Ben Torgenson as Gordon.  Talks are now in progress with Madonna for the role of Tin-Tin, Bob Hoskins is expected to be cast as Parker, Lance Bass is paying Frakes to be cast as Alan and Anna Nicole Smith is up for the out-of-character role of Brains.

British Entertainment Monthly has obtained sketches of the movie version of the five Thunderbird craft. Although choosing to stray from Gerry Anderson's original TV designs, Frakes brings a brand new dimension and a new sense of action to the workhorses of Jeff Tracy's fleet.  Thunderbirds are go!
